Rumor was rampant that DornCounty the evil GM of the franchise had ordered Dan to throw the game for the sake of the lucrative 3rd home game. "No Comment", was all that Dorn would say on the issue.

LOL. Actually I'm sorta surprised more teams don't do that, throw out your worst pitcher on sleepwalking for a full game against an NPC team. Lots of XP and an extra home game.
